Privacy Policy

1Who We Are

PulseTrack Pro is a Chrome browser extension developed by Vaibhav Dubey ("we", "our", or "us"). It provides real-time stock, crypto, futures, and index price tracking directly in your browser. This Privacy Policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

2Data Stored Locally on Your Device

PulseTrack Pro stores the following data using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API, which saves data on your device and may sync across your own devices if you are signed into Chrome:

• Watchlist (tickers) — the symbols you have added to track, and their exchange settings.
• Portfolio data — shares held and average buy price per ticker, used to compute P&L locally. Never transmitted.
• Price alerts — your configured above/below alert thresholds per ticker. Stored locally only.
• Price & sparkline cache — recently fetched price data cached briefly to reduce API calls. Never transmitted to us.
• Extension settings — sort order, refresh interval, portfolio mode toggle, active tab and exchange preferences.
• License key — if you activate a Pro or Lifetime subscription, your license key and last-verification timestamp are stored locally for verification only.

This data never leaves your device except as described in Section 3. We have no way to access your watchlist, portfolio, or alert data.

3External Network Requests

PulseTrack Pro makes only the following external network requests:

• Yahoo Finance API — to fetch live price quotes and chart data for the symbols in your watchlist. Requests go to query1.finance.yahoo.com and query2.finance.yahoo.com. Only ticker symbols are sent — no personal information. Yahoo Finance's own Privacy Policy governs these requests.
• Cloudflare Worker (license verification) — when you activate or re-verify a license key, it is sent to our Cloudflare Worker to confirm validity. No browsing data, portfolio data, or personal information is ever sent. Re-verification happens at most once every 4 hours in the background.

No other external requests are ever made. The extension does not contact any analytics service, advertising network, or crash-reporting service.

4Price Alerts & Notifications

PulseTrack Pro uses Chrome's notifications permission to display browser notifications when a price alert threshold is crossed. Alert data is stored locally only and is never transmitted to any server. Notifications are generated entirely within your browser.

5No Advertising, No Analytics, No Tracking

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics), or user-tracking tools of any kind. We have no way of knowing who is using the extension, how often, or which symbols they track.

6Payments & License Keys

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. We do not handle or store your payment card details. After a successful purchase, a license key is generated and emailed to you via Resend. Dodo Payments' and Resend's own privacy policies govern how they handle your data.

7Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. The only third-party involvement is Yahoo Finance (price data), Dodo Payments (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (Worker hosting and D1 database).

8Children's Privacy

PulseTrack Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

9Data Security

All watchlist, portfolio, and alert data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage APIs. Its security is governed by Chrome's own sandboxing and your device's security model. Our Cloudflare Worker communicates over HTTPS only.

10Your Rights and Choices

• Delete all data — go to chrome://extensions, find PulseTrack Pro, click "Details" → "Clear data".
• Deactivate license — use the "Deactivate license" button in Settings. This removes your license key from storage.
• Uninstall — removing the extension from Chrome automatically deletes all locally stored data.

11Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
